Join us for an inspiring morning at Openlab

What does it take to achieve sustainable cities in a society still living by unsustainable rules?

Are you curious to know more about how some of our most innovative systemic changemakers work? Do you yourself need more practical tools to understand systems and how to approach them to enable sustainable development?

Sweden and Stockholm are teeming with cutting edge research and innovation for sustainable development. But to reach the ambitious goals of Agenda 2030 and the New Urban Agenda, it will take more than the skill and will of gifted individuals and groups. Cities of today are still dominated by organizations, laws, routines and norms that function as if the world did not cry out for a shift towards sustainability. If we want to spread the good practices and solutions created by today’s sustainable pioneers, we need to embrace a mindset of systemic improvements of existing systems. Achieving such improvements is easier said than done. That is probably why few have actual examples of how to change a system without tearing it down completely. But there are several actors today who try hard to make their sustainable solutions a part of everyday life by fitting them into society’s complex machinery. We now invite you to hear their stories.  Come to Share Mingle & Inspire!

Presentation format - ‘Five by five’

Every presenter will get five minutes and five slides to share their story. As we are many that will attend to hear your thoughts we have a limited number of presentations per meet-up. The presentations are followed by a lottery for questions, breakfast and mingle!

Welcome to attend this ‘Share Mingle & Inspire’ and be part of the movement. You will get surprised how many people will support and share their experience with you and how it will profit your own goals.

See you there!

The event is free of charge, but you need to sign up to attend.
